Delivery time depends on where your piece is in the making. Saikou pieces are made by hand, so the timeline has three stages. First, production: for a pre-order, your piece is made after the pre-order window closes, and the studio shares the expected making time on the product page. Second, dispatch: once your piece is finished and quality-checked, it ships within about 7 working days. Third, transit: delivery then takes 3 to 6 working days to metro cities and 5 to 10 working days to non-metro areas. You receive a tracking link by email and WhatsApp when your piece ships.
Not through the website just yet. International shipping is not yet live for online checkout, but it can be arranged. If you are outside India or buying for delivery abroad, write to the studio first at info@saikoushop.com. The team will confirm whether your destination can be served, share the shipping cost, and guide you through placing the order. For any further questions, contact us at info@saikoushop.com.
Once your piece is dispatched, a tracking link is sent to you by email and WhatsApp. If your parcel is delayed or lost after dispatch, write to the studio at care@saikoushop.com and the team will help.
A pre-order lets you reserve a piece from a limited edition before it is made. Saikou opens each edition through a short pre-order window. You place your order and pay during the window, and production for that edition begins once the window closes. Pre-order pricing is the launch-window price, set lower than the standard price the piece carries after the window closes.
Because a pre-order piece is made for you after the window closes, the wait has two parts: the making time, then dispatch and delivery. The studio shares the expected making time for each edition on its product page. Once your piece is finished and quality-checked, it ships within about 7 working days, and delivery then takes 3 to 6 working days to metro cities and 5 to 10 working days to non-metro areas. You receive three updates by email: a confirmation when production begins, a dispatch notice when your piece ships, and a tracking link.
Every Saikou piece is made and finished by hand, and a pre-order piece is made only after the edition's window closes. The making and hand-finishing cannot be rushed without lowering the standard, so the wait is the time the work genuinely takes. The studio keeps you updated through it and does not go quiet between your order and your delivery.
Every Saikou piece is sculpted and hand-finished in the studio from premium resin, chosen for its weight in the hand, the fine detail it holds, and its long-term colour stability. Each piece is hand-painted and inspected before it ships.
A Saikou piece is made for indoor display. Keep it out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources and damp, and let it sit on a stable, flat surface. To clean, wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. For a stubborn mark, use a barely damp cloth and let the piece dry fully. Avoid abrasive cloths, brushes, and any chemical or alcohol-based cleaners, which can dull the finish.
No. Saikou pieces are made as cultural collectibles and art objects, never as objects of worship or ritual use. They are sculpted to capture a moment from India's epics, legends, history, and cinema, and they are made to be displayed and enjoyed as art: on a shelf, a desk, a console, or a studio surface.
Ikon and Trika are Saikou's two houses. Ikon makes accessible, collector-grade busts and smaller pieces, designed to be a collector's first step into Saikou. Trika makes full-figure premium statues in tightly limited editions, the studio's most detailed and ambitious work. Both are made and hand-finished in the same studio, to the same standard.
Each Saikou piece is released in a limited edition with a fixed number. When an edition is set, it is set: the studio does not reopen it, extend it, or re-issue it later in a new colour or box. Your piece carries its own number within the edition, and that number is logged in the studio's edition register and stays tied to your piece for the life of the edition.
Every Saikou piece ships with a certificate signed by the studio. It records the piece, its edition, and its individual number, confirming the piece is genuine and is part of the limited edition you bought into. The same number is held in the studio's edition register, so your piece's place in the edition can always be confirmed.
Not at this time. Saikou makes its own limited-edition pieces drawn from India's epics, legends, history, and cinema, rather than custom or personalised commissions. This focus is what lets the studio hold its standard on every piece it releases. If you have a question about an upcoming piece or edition, write to the studio at info@saikoushop.com.
Yes. A Saikou piece makes a considered gift, and every order ships in protective packaging built for the piece inside it. For a single gift, you can place the order as normal and ship it to the recipient's address. For larger or corporate gifting, where you may want several pieces or a specific timeline, write to the studio at info@saikoushop.com and the team will help you plan it.
Saikou pieces are sold final, so the studio does not offer returns or refunds for change of mind, or for colour and scale differences that come from screen or lighting. The one exception is transit damage. If your piece arrives damaged, the studio will make it right, but the claim must be supported by a clear, continuous unboxing video and photos, sent to care@saikoushop.com within 24 hours of delivery. If the outer package looks tampered or crushed, do not accept the delivery. Approved claims are resolved with a replacement. Full terms are in the Refund and Return policy.
