What does Saikou promise every collector?
Every Saikou piece is a bet a collector places on a young studio, and the studio's only job is to make that bet worth placing, every single time.
A promise is easy to make and hard to keep. So we wrote ours down, in public, where you can hold us to it. What follows is not marketing. It is the standard the studio holds itself to on the things that matter most to a collector: the edition, the price, the piece in your hands, and what happens after you buy. If we ever fall short of any line on this page, that is on us to fix.
Is a Saikou edition real, and is the price honest?
Yes. The edition size you are told is the only edition size that will ever exist, and the price you see is the price the piece is worth, with no games played on either.
The edition is fixed.
When an edition is set, it is set. We do not reopen it, extend it, or re-issue it later in a new colour or a new box to slip past the cap. The number on your piece is the number that exists in the world, and it stays that way for the life of the edition. That number is logged in the studio's record and tied to your signed certificate, so the count is never just a claim.
The price is honest.
A pre-order discount is the studio's way of saying thank you to the collectors who back a piece early. It is not a sale, and it is not a countdown built to rush you. When the pre-order window closes, the catalogue price stands, and that is the price the piece deserves. We will not spam your inbox, invent festive markdowns, or ask you to chase a code. One fair price, stated plainly.
How do I know the piece is authentic?
Every Saikou piece ships studio-direct, sealed and recorded before it leaves, and arrives numbered against a signed certificate logged in the studio's register, so the piece in your hands is provably the piece you were promised.
The craft in the photographs is the craft in your hands.
The piece you see on the product page is the piece you receive. The detail, the finish, the paint: what was photographed is the standard every piece is held to before it ships. We do not stage one piece for the camera and send a lesser one to your door.
Numbered, signed, and recorded for life.
Every piece carries its number within the limited edition and ships with a certificate signed by the studio. That number is logged in the studio's edition register and stays tied to your piece for the life of the edition, so its place in the edition can always be confirmed.
Studio-direct, sealed and recorded.
Every piece ships from the studio straight to your door, with no marketplace and no reseller in between. Before it leaves, it is sealed in protective packaging and recorded, so what was packed is exactly what reaches you.
What happens after I buy, and if something goes wrong?
You will hear from the studio through the wait, your payment is handled securely through Razorpay, and if anything goes wrong with your piece, we make it right, quickly and without fuss.
We write before we ship.
A pre-order is a wait, and you will not spend it wondering. We tell you where your piece is in the making and when it is moving toward you. The studio does not go quiet between the order and the delivery.
Your payment is secure.
Checkout runs through Razorpay's encrypted, PCI-compliant gateway, in rupees, with UPI, cards, net banking, and wallets all supported. The studio never sees or stores your card details.
If something goes wrong, we make it right.
If a piece arrives damaged or not as it should be, tell us and we will sort it, quickly and without making you chase us for it. And once you are part of the Saikou family, you stay: early looks at new pieces, first access, and the occasional quiet thank-you come with time.
